In 2017 my partner and I bought a 2000 Millenium Edition Bigfoot Truck camper. We moved into it full time in February 2018 and have been living and traveling in it full time ever since.
We still consider Bend, Oregon to be our home base and we spend the warmer months enjoying the endless recreation opportunities that central Oregon offers. During the colder months we prefer to spend our time skiing and snowboarding at resorts across North America, so most of our travel takes place during the Winter. Lucky for us our camper is built to withstand temperatures as low as -40, so we stay nice and warm despite the often dramatic weather.
In the Fall of 2018 we spent a month renovating our camper from it’s old, dated decor to a more modern aesthetic that fits our lifestyle and design preferences. We still have a few renovations to finish but once everything is complete I’ll be sure to post a complete before & after.
We get a lot of questions about what its like living on the road, so I’m working on compiling a list of Frequently Asked Questions. When that’s complete I’ll post a link here for you to reference.
There isn’t much we’d change about our full time camper lifestyle – we love it and the freedom it affords us and look forward to many more years of life on the road!
